Card and Tin For Mia
Ellie's friend Mia will be 5 next weekend. Ellie has been invited to her birthday party so I have made this card and tin for her.The card is made with patterned paper by Scissor Sisters, the letters and ovals are done on the Cricut, the stamp is a Sugar Nellie, the number is Chipboard painted with Acrylic paint and the flowers are done with a paper punch and then a lilac gem added to the centre of each. The tin was one I'd originally done as a baby boy tin for the flower shop - because the ribbons on it were blue and yellow I thought I'd just try and find some girly blue and yellow paper so that I could keep the same ribbons. I found this paper by Scissor Sisters in my stash and thought it would go nicely. It did look lovely but the yellow ribbons didn't really go, so I took the yellow ribbons off and replaced them with white. I added a white bow, made the tag and the "Mia" with the Cricut then stamped the Mongolia stamp and coloured it with Twinkling H2O's to match the paper.
