This is the Mother's Day card I made for my Mum. I set myself a challenge of using a die I've had for a while and haven't used yet. In this case it was the border die which I cut out of green dotty card stock.
The inside is from another die set which I have used a few times. The Happy Mother's Day stamp is an old one too and the little butterflies are from a set called Royal Flutter By Spellbinders.
This blog was started mainly for my crafting, however I also find myself writing about my family life too and in particular about my son Josh. Josh is just Josh to us and we're used to his quirky behaviour. As I don't want to have to mention Josh's autism every time I post about him, I thought I'd mention it here. Hopefully you will bear this in mind as you read and it may give you a little insight into the wonderful world of the autisic child in a very gentle way!

Teachers' Gift
This is still a work in progress. I've just ordered some Tim Holtz Hitch Fasteners to go on the front of the drawer but as I haven't posted anything for a while again and I'm supposed to be making more of an effort I thought I'd put it on anyway.
The papers are by Do Crafts
The stamp and sentiment are by Crafter's Companion
The banner stamp is from a set by Do Crafts
The image is part coloured with Twinkling H2Os and part paper pieced
The flowers and leaves on the left are dies by Marianne Designs
The leaves on the right are a die by Little Claire Designs
Oh and the fancy scalloped edging is a die from the Spellbinders Edgeablities range.
I think that's covered everything. :0)
