Race For Life

It seems to have come around really fast but it's my Race For Life tomorrow. I was really looking forward to it but a few weeks ago I did some damage to my leg while running with the dog and despite having lots of physio on it, it is still very sore and since having the physio my back has started hurting too mainly due to the physio sticking his fingers in it and no I haven't forgiven him for that yet!! So I am a walking disaster area at the moment.

However I am still going to do Race For Life tomorrow even if I have to crawl round on my hands and knees! So if you have a pound or two to spare and would like to give it to a fantastic cause there is still time to sponsor me. Just click here and it will take you to my sponsor page.

Thank you.

Just a little update...

Mum and I did the Race For Life walk today. It was great fun and the weather held off for us, it was a bit cold and windy but it didn't rain until we'd finished and were back in the car and on our way home. Bonus!

We saw Ellie's teacher there and Josh's one to one and a few other teachers from school too.Because we were walking we did the 5k in just under an hour. I didn't think that was too bad considering how many people were there but I think if we do it next year we'll go in the joggers section as it was less congested there and we can start off jogging then slow to a fast walk which would be better. A great day though.

A huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me and Mum for this event. We really appreciate it and so does Cancer Research.

Good luck for tomorrow Fe, I hope the weather is good for you, and you don't have to resort to crawling it! And good luck to your mum too, Debbie said she is doing it too so I'll be thinking about you both. Hugs, Nicki.
